Volume One: A Fragile State of Mind

…This is what I found of her video diary. Most of it was just bits and pieces scattered throughout her home that I collected and put in the order that makes the most chronological sense, if there is even one. 

The reason I come to you is because I need your help. 

I’ve paired my commentary with each piece of evidence I supplied here in hopes that one of you can help me understand this dreary tale just a little more. 

Rarity’s story still continues to fascinate me, as well as scare me into seeing what a simple fashionista could become. 

Rarity’s story is a story about stress. 

Stress and pressure. 

Science tells us that with stress, pressure, and time come beauty. 

It’s only fitting that her cutie mark is that of three diamonds.

I have to give my thanks to many who made this first album possible and those that inspired me to trek on through this mad week. 

First of all, this wouldn’t be at all possible if I didn’t get damn inspired from the amazing other Smash Concept Album titled “Pinkamina” by my good friend Jules “Decibelle”! Totally check that album out and throw all your money at that!

Rarity: I - A Fragile State of Mind is fully completed on the musical spectrum.

Ten tracks, about 20 minutes.

Now I just need to get some sexy artwork to go along with it…

So like, we couldn’t master Destiny (Part I) in time and I’m really excited for how this album is turning out so I’ve made some changes to my set at Unicon!

I’m going to be playing two tracks from Rarity in lieu of Destiny (Part I).

Now my set flows a lot better!

Makes more sense with the metastory of this album.

and I’m down to two more tracks ‘til completion of Volume I: A Fragile State of Mind.

So like, how many of you guys liked my rendition of Rocket to Insanity?

I. A Fragile State of Mind is probably the most fun I’ve ever had working on an album.

And I’ve got so many more chapters to do.

I’ve got three tracks left to go, and the first chapter will drop free of charge (or if you enjoy it, donations totally acceptable!) on my bandcamp on 2-20-13.

It’s shaping up to be about 17-22 minutes of atmospheric scoring goodness.
