No Matter How I Look at It, It’s Your Guys’ Fault I’m Not Horse Famous!, known as HorseFamous! (有名な馬) for short, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by K. Icarus Gray I. It began serialization at Bandcamp’s Online Distrubution service from January 7th, 2012 and is published by tumblr in North America. A television anime adaptation by PonyvilleLive! aired in Japan between July and September 2013. The anime adaption received critical acclaim, particularly for the main character and her voice actress, but was also controversial in its treatment of social anxiety.

PLOT

Fifteen-year-old HeyLasFas! believed that he would become popular upon entering the MLP fandom because he’d become well-versed in the world of music composition. In reality, he finds that he has become an unsociable loner and he is forced to take a long hard look at himself for the first time in years. The story follows HeyLasFas! as he attempts to improve his social status as he progresses through the fandom.
