Did you know I can only think of four things at a time? Right now I'm thinking about the number 77, time signature metered time signatures, cute anime characters, and a haircut.

No seriously, feel free to talk to me for whatever reason. Askbox is always open as well as Skype.

I don’t understand american school years what the fuck is a freshman or a sophomore why do you have these words instead of the numbers

what why would you use numbers

so IT FUCKING MAKES SENSE WHAT THE HELL IS A SOFT MOORE OR A FRESH MAN WHY ARE THE MEN FRESH

Wait, I thought “freshman” was someone in their first year at any school and “sophomore” was someone in their last year. Are you telling me they literally don’t even use numbers, you just have to know these words?

What. The. Fuck. America.

Well, we use the numbers, just not as often.  A freshman is the first-year, hence the name.  Don’t ask me what a sophomore is, I have no clue, but it’s the second year.  After that is junior (third year) and senior (fourth year).

From Wikipedia:

In the United States, a sophomore /ˈsɒfmɔr/ is a student in the second year of study at high school or university.[1][2] The term comes from Greek σόφισμα (sophisma), “acquired skill, clever device, method”.[3] The term sophomore is probably a compound of the Greek σοφός (sophos), “wise” + μωρός (moros), “foolish, dull”.

Sophomore pretty much means “Wise, but Foolish.

Sounds about right.
