Did you know I can only think of four things at a time? Right now I'm thinking about the number 77, time signature metered time signatures, cute anime characters, and a haircut.

No seriously, feel free to talk to me for whatever reason. Askbox is always open as well as Skype.

Okay, so once I finished Silk, I realised something.

The piano library I used was SoundIron’s Emotional Piano. It sounds great, but there are clear problems…notably it’s quite blurry (this was the master patch) and the only clear patch (jazz patch) clips a lot. It fits well as background sound, but solos are ill-suited.

What other piano libraries do other people swear by? I’ll see what people say when I wake up! (this is on queue)

I know Native Instruments and such, but Vienna Concert - Grand with Overtones is my current favourite.

Also got a recommendation for The Giant. These all sound pretty good! I’m also very interested in The Orchestral Grands,...

I love Piano In Blue. It’s just so moody.

I’m right there with you with this question. I’ve yet to find a library with jangly enough bass notes for my tastes....

Alicia’s Keys, hands down, is the clear winner for me.
