It generally kinda sucks when everyone and their dog unanimously loves something and you can’t really talk about it because pointing out any criticism leads to people growing overly defensive about it and awkwardly halting the conversation before any nice discussion takes place.

Well, I’ll start from extremely high up on the ladder, maybe I’ll find some common ground.

No one -really- believes that Undertale deserves a 97/100 on metacritic, right?

  2. apotheosic said: it only has such a high score because of all the hype. it’ll even out over the next few months. i don’t think any game deserves a score that high, because it implies nearing perfection, which is absurd.
