Or more seriously, I wanted to explore the idea of how then (2012) Twilight would handle becoming an Alicorn. Like, I thought that there was no chance that she would actually become an alicorn, so I started writing the album to ask the question…

What ‘would’ happen if Twilight became a princess?

How would this work?

How would the inworld react?

Would everything be okay?

I wanted to give the community my little story to sate those hypothetical questions.

I was a little disappointed with Magical Mystery Cure when it came out, but exclusively for selfish reasons of “weh it broke my album’s fanon.”

I also thought that it could have been handled better so I DID IT MYSELF.
